Today we’re going to spend more time practicing the actual action of programming. Writing a program is a pretty simple task. First, we figure out what sorts of actions or commands we can use and then we chain them together!

The first half of class, we’ll spend talking some basic turtle activities. Shelly is in danger and we must save them!

The second half of class, we’ll spend installing Python and doing Exercise 0 so you’re done with your HW before the weekend starts! If you are reading this and haven’t already, please download Python for your system by following the direction in Homework 0.

Note: If you’re reading this before class, go ahead and download Python now rather than later. Because there are so many people in our class, the internet in our class slows wayyyyy down when everyone tries to download a large file at the same time.
