Today we’ll spend a lot of time making sure we’re solid on our big two additions this week: reporters and sequences. First we’ll review the basics of sequences along with our new sequence recipes. Then we’ll review shapes and reporters. The Shapes Functions documentation tell us all we need to know about how to call those functions. And the recipe for reporter functions is exactly the same as regular functions, but with a return statement at the end!
We’ll spend the last few minutes of class talking about the concept of scope - or the idea that variables will only exist in certain contexts within your programs.
